Malawi has a regulated gambling market. That does not mean every international platform is authorised. My review of 1win starts with MAGLA’s operator information and then the movement of money in kwacha. I did not find 1win in the licensed-operator notice I reviewed, so I do not present a registration or deposit route as verified.
MAGLA and the operator’s exact identity
MAGLA publishes licensed operators under the Gaming and Lotteries Act of 2022. The reviewed notice names companies and trading brands; it does not include 1win. This is a finding about that notice, not a claim that registers can never change.
Brand, company and licence category

MWK, Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba
The Malawian kwacha uses the code MWK. Government news agency MANA reports the Reserve Bank of Malawi promoting Airtel Money, TNM Mpamba and banks. These are part of the local financial environment; I have not verified their integration with 1win.

Illustrative accounting: MWK 50, 000 minus a MWK 1, 500 cost leaves MWK 48, 500, a 3% reduction. This is not a published wallet or 1win tariff. In payments and withdrawals, I separate a digital credit from the cash eventually available.
A mobile-money agent is not a casino representative
